After the regional censor board in Chennai refused to clear the five minute Markandeya?.Nee Varuvaya? song in New shot recently, Suryah had gone to the Bombay revising committee and cleared it after making a few cuts.
The song was to be added to the film by this weekend when another drama has been staged at the regional censor board office in Sastri Bhavan in Chennai. The officials at Chennai, who were supposed to see the censored song, rejected it once again for the vulgarity in picturisation!

S.J.Suryah who came to the regional censor board office on Thursday got violent with the officials for rejecting the song that has already been cleared by the censor board in Mumbai. He had a showdown with the officials and following the incident Vanathy Sreenivasan and another member has filed a police complaint against the director.

Said a peeved Suryah: ?I can?t understand why the officials are refusing to a song that the revising committee has already cleared?
