As the other releases that are expected for this Onam comes in a lackluster packaging, it seems that this Onam will witness a fight between Mohanlal films.

Mammootty is coming up with a classy subject in Ore Kadal, while Lohithadas will have an all new fresh faces in Naivedhyam. With some left overs like Black Cat and Indrajith, which were completed months back to complete the list, none of these film shows symptoms of becoming a rage in the box office.

But Mohanlal's Hello which was released a few weeks ago, have just completed fifty days and is continuing in more than thirty release centres with eighty percent collections.

Alibhai, that was released a few days ago, too had a most impressive opening and is on its way to become a hit.

But how long the magic of initials crowds will last is a matter to watch as immediately after the few day of release, the crowds are thinning out fast at most theatres. But the advantage of the film is that, going by the present list of other films lined up for release, it seems unlikely that Alibhai would face any real competition from any film other than Hello.
