Namitha has been trying her level best to dissuade her fans from building a temple for her. Her fans have been mulling over this idea for a long time, but Namitha tried her best to stop the project. She said she loves her fans and respects them a lot, but she feels a temple is like taking admiration a bit too far, and she has difficulty in coming to terms with this.

But of late, the fans have been extremely adamant and it looks like they will definitely build a temple for her. This temple will be built in Nellai district. But there have been rumours that a temple has already been built here and is waiting to be open to the public. Another rumour is that a diehard fan has built a temple for Namitha in Tirunelveli on his own.

Khusbu is the only actress for whom a temple was built. And now it looks like Namitha will also get this honour.
