Sullan starring Dhanush and directed by Rammana (Thirumalai fame) has been given the red card by the distributors association. Red card implies that no distributors or exhibitors will buy or screen the film. This situation arose because Dhanush's earlier film Dreams directed by his father Kasthoori Raja is still lying incomplete Speaking to the press Dhanush and his father said that since Sullan was over it was not right to block its release. They said they were committed to completing Dreams. The argument put forth by the father - son is that Sullan will only boost the market price of Dreams. Dhanush denied the rumour that he had a rift with his father. “We do have our fights but I then patch up. I don’t think anyone can get a father like my dad" said Dhanush. Dhanush also clarified that he was not shifting out of his present house but instead he was on the lookout for a bigger house to be used as his office.
