Kalaipuli Dhanu's AALAVANTHAN. The film has Kamal in dual role with Raveena Tandon and Manisha Koirala with him. The film has a caption "Intha Poratam Karuvileyey Thodangivitathu" (This War began in the womb). Kamal is playing a full length negative role after a long time (INDIRAN CHANDIRAN.... discounting his role in INDIAN). The film is directed by Suresh Krishna!! (director of SATHYA, INDIRAN CHANDIRAN, ANNAMALAI, VEERA, BAASHA, etc.). Shanker Mahadevan scores music for the first time in a tamil film. Kamal has also agreed to do a film for director, Mouli. The film is titled, PAMMAL K SAMBANDAM. Simran teams with Kamal for the first time (Ne Nadathu Thalaivaaaa). And then? Kamal is the hero of Shanker's next film, ROBO.
