Vijayakanth: Three continuous hits (KANNUPADA POGUTHAIYA, VANATHAI POLA, VALLARASU) and one big flop (SIMMASANAM)....Vijayakanth was very cautious with his film VAANJINATHAN. This movie was another hit. Vijayakanth's next movie is NARASIMHA. The film is directed by telugu director Thirupathiswamy. Isha Gopikar is the heroine. Manisharma is the debutant music director. Vijayakanth would then do a dual role for THAVASI.

Vijayakanth: His Pongal release FRIENDS was a hit and was the highest grosser amongst other hits like DHEENA and VANJINATHAN. Vijay's Tamil New Year release was BADRI. The film has two heroines Monal (Simran's sister) and Bhoomika. This film is supposed to be doing well. Vijay has agreed to do a village subject film, VELAN which is to be directed by Thirupathiswamy (who is currently directing Vijayakanth's NARASIMHA). He has also agreed to do two films one for Super Good Films and one for Oscar Film's Ravichandran. Vijay would also be doing a film for directors' Charan (in dual role) and Vikraman. Laila teams with Vijay for Vikraman's film. Vijay has also signed up SHAJAHAN (music is by Mani Sharma). He might also do a film for Roja Combines, which is to be directed by P C Sreeram. Guess what, Aishwarya Rai might join the list of Vijay's heroines.
Ajeeth: DHEENA did well at the box office. His next film is CITIZEN. He figures in 9 different appearances in CITIZEN. Vasundra Das (HEY RAM) is the heroine. Music is by Deva. Citizen is ready and will release in May. Ajeeth is also acting in Ezhil's next film POOVELLAM UN VAASAM. Jyothika is the heroine Jyothika will also team with Ajeeth in NEW which is to be directed by Surya (VAALI & KUSHI). He has also signed up for Charan's YERUMUGAM. This film is produced by Poornachander Rao (PADIKATHAVAN, ATHISIYA PIRAVI, NAATUKKORU NALLAVAN)
Prashanth: PIRIYATHA VARAM VENDUM, though it got some good reviews was not profitable. His next release is VIRUMBUGIREN. The film has Sneha as heroine and is directed by new director Susi Ganesh. Prashanth is acting with Jyothika in STAR. Dimple Kapadia's daughter Rinki Kanna is acting with Prashanth in MAJNU (Hmmmmm, Prashanth kaatula mazhai). In YENNA VILAI AZHAGEY, Amisha Patel(KAHO NAA PYAR HAI) is the heroine (Vayuru Eriyuthu). Prashanth is also acting in CHOCHOLATE. The film has Richa as heroine and is directed by Venkatesh (MAHAPRABHU and NILAVEY VAA). Additional info - Mumtaj plays a dual role in CHOCHOLATE (Aduthua Genmathulayathu nan Prashanth a porakanumda Andavaaaaa..). Meanwhile Prashanth has decided on one more film, THAMIZH. For the sake of records...this time it is Simran. Prashanth will also act in ICE (directed by Rajkapoor).
