നീലത്താരമര, എന്നിഷ്ടം നിന്നിഷ്ടം, രതിനിര്വേദം, അവളുടെ രാവുകള്, ആഗസ്റ്റ് ഒന്ന്.... മലയാളത്തിലെ തുടരന് സിനിമകളുടെ ലിസ്റ്റിലേക്ക് ഒന്നു കൂടി. മലയാളത്തിലെ കോമഡി ഹിറ്റായ മലപ്പുറം ഹാജി മഹാനായ ജോജി എന്ന ഹിറ്റിന് രണ്ടാം ഭാഗമൊരുക്കാനുള്ള ആലോചനകള് തുടങ്ങിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു.
തൊണ്ണൂറുകളിലെ പല ഹിറ്റുകളുടെ ശില്പ്പികള് അതിന്റെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗങ്ങളിലൂടെ വീണ്ടും സിനിമയില് സജീവമാകാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിലാണ്. ഇതിന്റെ ചുവടുപിടിച്ചാണ് മലപ്പുറം ഹാജിയുടെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗവും ഒരുങ്ങുന്നത്.
മുകേഷും സിദ്ദിഖും പ്രധാന വേഷങ്ങളിലെത്തിയ ഹിറ്റ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ സംവിധായകന് തുളസീദാസായിരുന്നു. 1994ല് തിയറ്ററുകളിലെത്തിയ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ തിരക്കഥ രചിച്ചത് രാജന് കിരിയത്താണ്. അദ്ദേഹം തന്നെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗത്തിന് വേണ്ടിയും തൂലിക ചലിപ്പിയ്ക്കുമെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്ട്ടുകള്. മലപ്പുറം ജോജി മഹാനായ ഹാജി എന്നാണ് രണ്ടാം ഭാഗത്തിന് പേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് ....
