Mammootty and Mohanlal team up once again in Shafi's film under the banner of Lal Creations. The film has been named Thommanum Makkalum. Innocent enacts the role of Thomman and Mammootty and Mohanlal as his children (Makkal). Nayantara will be the heroine of the film.
The shooting of the film will begin in October. The last time both the superstars came together was for Harikrishnans directed by Fazil. It created a stir with the film having two endings to please the fans of the superstar. Once again Mohanlal's favourite heroine Nayantara pairs up.
