Bhadran's new film with Mohanlal in the lead role has been named Udayavan. The film is produced by Subair under the banner of Varnachithra. As Shogun had earlier registered the name Swarnam, Bhadran had to rename it to Udyavan. The shooting of the film will begin only after Mohanlal finishes shooting for Zachariah Pothan directed by Renjith. Bhadran earlier directed Mohanlal in Spadikam which was a hit. His next film was Olympian Anthony which was a flop. After a long gap Mohanlal and Bhadran are coming together.
