The hit team of director Lal-Jose, actor Dileep, music director Vidyasagar who has made that blockbuster Meesa Madhavan is back with their new film, Rasikan. This film is scripted by debutant Muralikrishnan, a former journalist and son of noted actor Bharat Gopi.
Dileep plays Sivankutty, a petty rowdy who lives in a slum area called Dalava Street. He is basically an organiser who collects people for dharnas, strikes and successfully implements ‘bandhs’ for political parties.
Added to that he also arranges youths for superstars to run their fan clubs! He is a big fan of Mohanlal and sees every film of his hero on the first day.
Sumvritha and Haripriya are the heroines and script writer Murali Krishnan plays Bhaskaran the villain. Sudhish produces this film under the banner of Trinity Films.
The cast also has Biju Menon,Jagathy, Siddhrath, Harisri Asokan, Abi, Haripriya, Neena Kurup and Ambika Rao among others. Gireesh Puthen cherry’s lyrics are set to tune by Vidyasagar. Rajeev Ravi is the cinematographer
