Abhishek Bachchan in �Autograph� remake!

Last week Amitabh Bachchan was in Chennai dubbing for S.Ramanathan?s Zamanat. In spite of his busy schedule, Bachchan saw a special screening of Autograph with Cheran and later said that he thoroughly enjoyed it.
Cheran was negotiating with Boney Kapoor, who wanted to remake the film with Shahid Kapoor along with Kareena Kappor (his real life lover). But after Amitabh saw the film, he spoke to his son and director Rajkumar Santhoshi. Santhoshi took the late night flight to Chennai in the wee hours of the morning and snapped the Hindi remake rights for a whopping Rs 1.50 Crore!

Now Santhoshi will start work with Abhishek in the lead role and the big news is that Aishwarya Rai will play the role made memorable by Sneha in the original. The other two heroines are likely to be Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra.
