madu is good..........
Yesudas appreciated madu's voice at the asianet awards.... I think 2005 or 2004.
Yes Madu is the closest Jr. Yesudas.. Maybe better at some point. But Yesudas is still a gavagandarvan.. I do not think we should compare them....
But I am sure I any one has a chance after Yesudas... It will be Madu,...
Foget Vijay Yesudas... Poor Kid..

Vidu Pratap... Good but Voice is just different.... Nothing Special...
Music Director Jaychandran is also good .. I like his songs....
I think Biju Narayanan was also a good singer but for some reason he was into devotional songs..... And I believe he has a good voice....

I am not saying anything about Mano or SP. They are too good and different form our malayalam singers......

Just my Opinion.....

Now it is the time for Yesudas to reduce his no of songs and to be selective. He should concentrate on songs that only he can sing (eg Harimuraleeravam and some songs from Vadakkumnathan). He should not sing sukhriya (Niram) and all...

Veteran playback singer Yesudas is doing a guest role in Vinayan’s Boyyfriennd(Vinayan’s numerological spelling!!) . In fact it is for the 12th time that he is doing cameo role in films. Says Yesudas: “I liked the social message that this film has tried to convey and hence agreed to do the role”.

In fact he sings and enacts a mapila pattu in a wedding scene, spotting a whitesherwani-kurta. This particular song has lyrics by Kaithapram and music is by M. Jayachandran and was canned in two days by Vinayan. The shooting of Boyyfriennd is moving at brisk pace in and around Thiruvananthapuram as the film gets ready for a Ramzan release.

Says Vinayan: "It was quick work by Dasettan who was very patient and within minutes, he was able to grasp the dialogues”.
