Police - review

Shekhar (Prithiviraj), a rugged man uses his fists more in dealing with drug peddlers while Anand (Indrajeeth), another cop in the same narcotics department has a more professional and sophisticated approach. Shekhar is the darling of the media, while Anand is a low profile guy. Both of them are rivals for the top slot. Both men create havoc for the drug cartel run by Reji Allan (Sachin Khedakar) and brother Saji (Ashokan). Shekhar is in love with Sethulakshmi (Bhavna), a simple servant girl who takes care of his mother (KPAC Lalitha).

Anand is very much attached to his sister, Kirthi (Chaya Singh). Reji who was abroad comes down to take care of the two cops. Reji uses a higher-up in the narcotics department to frame Shekhar and Anand. Shekhar turns approver and comes out on bail while Anand is jailed. Shekhar tries to break the cartel and prove his innocence. Anand, who thinks that Shekhar ditched him, also turns approver and comes out to take revenge. After many twists and turns, the drug lord and his brother are wiped out by the duo.

Despite Prithiviraj- Indrajeeth putting in their best, the film fails to sustain interest
since the plot is very weak. The director seems to have gone overboard in making the film a visually brilliant one and credit goes to Manikantan. The film's twists and turns give you a big headache.

Two of Kerala’s rival cops, worlds apart from each other, work for the narcotics department. Shekhar (Prithviraj), a rugged man in appearance goes about his duty in a ruthless street cop manner. Anand’s (Indrajeeth) approach is professional and sophisticated.

Both men in their different styles cause havoc and mayhem in the world of drug cartel ling resulting in great loss for super villain Reji Allan (Sachin Khedakar) and brother Saji (Ashokan).

Amidst the fast paced action love grows deep between Shekhar and Sethulakshmi (Bhavna), a simple servant girl who takes care of his mother (KPSA Lalitha). The relationship is portrayed through humor and mischief.

On the other side, Anand a deep rooted family man is bound by his brotherly devotion to his sister, Kirti (Chaya Singh). The plot twists and turns with deceit and deception leaving you at the edge of your seats.
