After a hilarious movie, Dileep now tries his hand at playing serious stuff in Lion.

He dons the role of the young politician Krishna Kumar in the film. After the success of Runway, director Joshy teams up with Dileep Lion.

On the title Lion, Joshy says, 'Lion is the hero's symbol in the election, and it is an indication about his character.

Just as a lion rules over the rest of the animals regardless of size, Krishna Kumar proves he can make an impact on his family members, many of who mare more powerful than him'.

Kavya Madhavan plays a school teacher.`Lion' is produced under the banner of NNS Arts. The lyrics by Kaithpram are being composed by Deepak Dev. Lion will hit the movie halls towards the end of January.
