The lukewarm response for Lanka has not bothered Suresh Gopi. He says, 'amidst Malayalam movies of the day, Lanka was certainly different. Perhaps one can call it a path-breaker'.

Lanka is a different movie, which has opened to a mixed response.

When I heard the story from writer-director Sajan, I knew that this film would be different from what I have done so far. I think that Malayalam cinema needed a change.

It's a good movie and Mamta Mohandas has done a great job, he adds.

The story of Lanka is based on real life incidents that happened in Lanka. It is the story of several shattered women in Sri Lanka.

If in Lanka, he played a womanizer, in one of his next movies he takes it to new levels.

Suresh Gopi says a movie to be directed by Roshan Andrews titled Womanizer is on the cards. Rashtram and Chintamani Kola Case are getting ready for release.
