Talented young playback singer and music director Jassie Gift, who shot to fame with For The People, whose music had become the biggest rage among youth in the start of this century, is now debuting in Tollywood. Even though the singer has sung a few in the language, his first movie as a music director will be Sawal, directed by B. Jaya, which will hit the stands soon. The film which has six songs has a few crooned by Jassie himself. The young music director is expecting the film and its music to become blockbuster hits.
Jassie had debuted into every language in the south with the dubbing versions of For The People, which were straight hits in every industry. In Telugu his Malleeswariye (the remade Lajjavathiye)… was one of the biggest hit of the year. Jassie is not seen much as a music director in Malayalam now days, due to his heavy assignments from other languages.
Even in this haste, he finds time to sing a few in films like Palunku and Nanma.
