Malayalam actor Ajay kumar , alias Pakru is once again appearing in the lead of a new film tiled 'Mirror'. This Kannada movie is a silent film made by Manasa enterprises. The film directed by Maaba deals with the sentimental aspects of the mother and her mute midget son and their endeavor to make ways for a better leaving. ‘Mirror’ also features Kannada artists like Padma Vasanthi, Abhinaya, Ramesh Bhat,and Kashi .

Pakru, a name in the Guinness Book of World Records for the shortest hero, has already proved his acting talents by earning two Best actor awards from the state for Kerala and Tamil Nadu for his performances in films like Adbhutha Dweep in Malayalam and ‘Dishoom’ in Tamil, respectively.

Pakru who is aiming for social acceptance for his community of midgets believes that they can achieve something better through these kinds of meaningful cinemas.

‘Mirror’ is not the first silent film in this age of talkies. ‘Pushpaka Vimana’ directed by Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao, featuring Kamal Haasan in the all important role which was released in the year 1987 and ‘Parashu’ made a few years ago were also silent films, which surprised the box office with good audiences.
