He usually comes after the 15 over powerplays, and it was his duty to build the innings through singles and doubles.whenver australia was chasing a score bevan was terrific and he won many matches for them ,in that case even tendulkar couldn't match him. BEvan stands among the greatest one day players af all time..
Regarding Beven I understand thats what the current situation is. He did not play much test in fact he was not considered for it since there were too many greats in OZ team. Even simple failures kept him on side lines. I still believe his style was suited best for tests.
not at all dear flasher..his technical problems resulted in his exit from test squad...i am a huge fan of bevan.still, his shortcomings against short pitch fast bowling ended his teat career..the opponents always tested him with short balls whenever he played tests and they were successful..

At the end of his career,wasim akram got himself indulged in the match fixing controversies and had to quit the team..still , we love akram.because he was a gentleman and a great fighter..he never argued with the umpires , never fought with the opponents in the field..akram was a true sportsman..whenver we think about a complete bowler , the first name comes in to our mind wll be wasim..the great..
It's difficult to explain azhar's position in the history of cricket. The wristy wizard from hyderabad is an extra ordinary player . Azhar used his magnificient wrists to enlighten his onside strokeplay.His style was effortless matched only by another hyderabadi, vvs laxman. The former captain of india was a genuine stroke player . Azhar came in to the scene by scoring 3 hundreds in his first 3 tests.Azhar was a successful captain also, he won many test matches in indian pitches. Azhar was not quite successful against fast bowling , he was weak against short balls..but he was a treat to watch against the medium pacers as he timed the balls with a divine elegance.
