The number one test team in the world is facing the reality at nagpur cricket test against south africa..south africans won the toss and posted around 558-6 on the board and declared .indian bowlers were simply ineffective , jack kallis scored 173 and hashim amla 253not out.india batting in the first innings were destroyed by a stunning display of fast bowling lead by dale steyn..steyn took 7 for 51 and india had to follow on and they lost 2 wickets for just 66 runs. sehwag made 109 and badrinath 56. no other batsman reached beyond 15..

a batting line up without rahul dravid and vvs laxman ,had to face one of the breath taking spells of fast bowling from dale steyn..he was simply unplayable..150 mile vegathil varunna bouncerukal, yorkerukal, superb inswingers..vridhiman saha,badrinath enna 2 debutands, 3 test mathram kalicha murali vijay ivarkkokke thangan pattunnathinumappuram..badrinath fought hard for a 56, but it wasn't enough..experienced guys like tendulkar, gambhir,dhoni were failures..steyn was a treat to watch..a complete fast bowler on song..steyn, you rocks..

lack of imagination of indian selectors is the main cause for this problem ..they should have tested this newcomers against bangladesh.instead they throwed them infront of the south african pace battery..they should understand that the great indian middle order is going to retire in a couple of years[dravid, laxman, and sachin]. so they should develop a couple of youngsters by giving them opportunities against weaker opponents..also indian bowling is also the weak when compared to australia and south africa.one quality bowler in zahir khan and rest of them are just spectators..
