The first month after marriage is nothing but tenderness and pleasure! Our forefathers were very clever to find the right word to name this period of time honeymoon, which has got varieties of interpretation according to different traditions. Generally, a honeymoon is the traditional trip taken by newlyweds to celebrate their marriage in intimacy and seclusion. But our Gopika does not believe in these definitions. She is busy learning cooking!

“I have to learn to make good chicken curry and almost all Kerala dishes as Aji (Ajilesh) is a foodie,” said the actress, now on a honeymoon at an undisclosed place. So, Gopika, the next-door-image girl in South India cinema, proves that indeed she is a down-to-earth person in real life too.

It is learned that Gopika's husband Dr. Ajilesh also wants Gopika to be a good housewife as they plan to settle down in Ireland. He even claims that he has never seen any of Gopika's films. Anyway, he can be proud of his better half, who has done a number of memorable films with almost all top actors in Kollywood and Mollywood in a short time before she voluntarily retired from films.

We wish the best and happiest honeymoon to Gopika, who is awaiting her last two Malayalam ventures Veruthe Oru Bharya with Jayaram and the multi starrer Twenty:20, slated for an August release.

I think the next best thing to solving a problem is finding some humor in it.
