David becham - at the end of his career?

David becham , one of the greatest midfielders of modern era is now at a stage that nothing is going good for him. First he was removed from the captaincy of the national team. Now the latest news is that it will be difficult for him to find a place in the first eleven of Real madrid.

For me this is not extraordinary happenings with becham, actually he is not that much talented player. The media made him a superstar, eventhough he was an average player. It's true that he was a specialist in free kicks, but never was a creative midfielder like zidane or figo.

i thot he was retiring from soccer after the world cup? Did'nt he give a speach to that effect? d'oh!

I think he talked in that way and after changed his mind. Now he wants to play for his country, and country don't want him to play.
