Joining the long list of films featuring Suriya being dubbed and released in Andhra Pradesh is Mounam Pesiyadhae. The movie directed by Ameer features Suriya, Trisha and Laila in the lead roles. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Ramji.
It may be recalled that since Ghajini, several movies featuring Suriya have been dubbed in Telugu and all have done brisk business.
The likes of Pithamagan, Ghajini and Aaru were released in Telugu and Suriya received rave reviews for his performance in those films.
With Suriya all set to enter wedlock with Jyothika on 11 September, his forthcoming release Sillunu Oru Kaadhal also featuring Jyothika and Bhoomika is slated for release. Interestingly Sillunu Oru Kaadhal will also be dubbed and released in Andhra Pradesh.
Suriya while addressing media persons in Hyderabad recently thanked his fans in Tollywood and assured that soon he would do a direct movie in Andhra Pradesh.
Looks like the young star is stretching his horizons.
