asal directed by saran is an action thriller picturised in foreign locations.the film lacks a good story line , the beautiful locations and the song picturisation is a plus point.the action sequences has been shot well, but in overall ,asal is a let down..
the most stylish & the most charming hero of south india ,ajith kumar is the back bone of the film..after billa, ajith is been presented in a stylish way.it's a pleasant to watch ajith in full flow .no punch dialogues ,no loud action scenes..but it's ajith all the way.ajith's double cameo as father and son is the highlight of the movie..the heroines, bhavana and sameera reddy has nothing to do..the supporting characters lead by sampath [sagar alias jacky fame]also fails to perform ..
you can not make a good film by only trying to present the hero in a stylish manner..ajith has been given the credit as the co director and the story also belongs to him..so the responsibility also lies with ajith..
